MBK Senior Living currently has an opening at our Conejo Valley, CA retirement community that provides Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care services. We are currently seeking a talented Executive Director that has proven leadership and operational skills, and a passion for seniors.

Specific responsibilities include:

The qualified candidate will have:

We are currently interested in hearing from EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR candidates with experience working with Alzheimer’s/Dementia residents to oversee a Memory Care Facility in the Seattle Area.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operate a fun and professional property that reflects excellence and “above the line” creative environment.
  • Leadership in creating and maintaining the highest standards of customer satisfaction in all areas.
  • Responsible for the financial performance of the community, meeting or exceeding established outcomes.
  • Maintain personal awareness of all aspects of the facility through onsite walk-throughs and open communication with employees and residents.
  • Foster a strong team environment.
  • Determine efficient strategies to ensure the right mix between labor, occupancy, and expenses.
  • Lead the marketing of this upscale community through personal involvement with strategy, deployment and sales initiatives.
  • Responsible for ensuring community is in compliance with state and federal regulatory policies processes, as well as HR compliance.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of increasing responsibility in a high quality service oriented hospitality environment.
  • Successful track record of general management experience and demonstrated understanding of financial concepts and ability to drive bottom line performance and profitability.
  • Ability to effectively manage a complex business with a minimum of $5 million in revenue and 50 or more
    employees.
  • Sales/marketing and food & beverage experience preferred.

Must have knowledge of applicable managed care, Medicare and MediCal regulations, reimbursement systems, Joint Commission standards for long term care and Title 22 regulations. Management or supervisory experience in long term care, acute care restorative or geriatric nursing is preferred.
